Rose Marie Woulfe is an American fashion designer. She studied Fine Arts and Art History before attending New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology where she graduated with a degree in fashion design.
Woulfe's innate sense of elegance, mischief, romance and whimsy translates into her designs, resulting in a distinctive and recognizable style. She creates women's fashion with a feminine, sophisticated and timeless design sensibility. Rose Marie has always been inspired by art, architecture, nature and fashion history.
Rose Marie’s experience spans 25 plus years which includes her eponymous label, Rose Marie Woulfe Collection. Her ready to wear collections sold to over 250 fine specialty stores across the country and key retailers including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Barneys and Fred Segal.
In addition, she has worked for well-known labels such as Kenzo, Tahari, Krizia, Marc Jacobs and Loro Piana. She has designed private label packages for a number of national brands. Rose Marie continues to design custom pieces for prominent private clients.
Rose Marie Woulfe's styles have graced the pages of Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Mademoiselle, New York Times, Women's Wear Daily (where she was hailed as a “shining star”), Los Angeles Times, W, Glamour, and Essence. Locally, she was featured in Savannah Magazine and appeared in South Magazine. In addition, her designs have appeared on NBC, ABC, CBS, Lifetime, MTV, CNBC and the Fox networks.
As a member of The Next Generation of Fashion Designers, her collections donned the runway during New York Fashion Week. In addition, Rose Marie won the Excellence in Design Award sponsored by Vidal Sassoon and designed garments for Cover Girl’s national ad campaign. She was thrilled to design original costumes for the Olympic figure skaters who performed in the “Angels on Ice” AIDs benefit.
In addition to New York City, where she lived most of her life, Woulfe recently added a home in Savannah, Georgia. A warmer climate, a smaller city and a place with soul and character, Savannah was the perfect fit for Rose Marie with its majestic trees, Spanish moss, breathtaking architecture, and its rich historical past. Rose Marie believes there is beauty and inspiration everywhere in Savannah and treasures the warmth of its residents.
